For the cover of Travis Scott’s first album, Rodeo, released in 2015, he was shown as an action figure. This should have hinted that he would continue to get even more creative in the future, and now he has surprised us again with what he has planned next.
Scott is set to release a new song in Fortnite soon, and he will have a special event for it. From April 23 to 25, players will be able to hear his new song during an event called “Astronomical,” created by Epic Games. According to the event’s page, it promises to be an amazing experience inspired by Scott’s music and ideas, all built inside Fortnite.
We’ve already seen some wild things from Scott, like when he built a rollercoaster on stage. So, it will be exciting to see what he can do in a game where there are no limits to what can happen.
An official teaser shows a bus flying through space really fast, which is definitely a “WTF” moment. It will probably make sense during the event, but it’s hard to imagine how a floating bus could fit into anything!
During this two-day event, you’ll have five chances to see Scott’s premiere. Here’s when it will happen:
Scott released his Astroworld album in 2018. The name of the album was inspired by the old Six Flags Astroworld theme park in Houston, Texas, which closed down in 2005.
Since then, Scott has also released a compilation album called Jackboys through his Cactus Jack Records label, which featured the hit song “Highest In The Room.” This album was the first number one album of 2020 and included artists like Rosalía and Young Thug.
Recently, Scott was featured in songs like “Give A Fxk” with Migos and Young Thug, and “Turks” with Nav and Gunna.
